A message from the GSDSEF Board of Directors: It is with deep sadness we inform you of the very sudden and unexpected passing of Ronald Domb, our friend and a long time supporter and CFO of the GSDSEF. He succumbed to a massive infection on April 13, only hours after being taken to the hospital. In spite of the medical staff’s best efforts he could not be saved. A memorial fund will be established and donations in Ronald’s memory will be used to help continue the work of the GSDSEF to which he so passionately donated his time, energy and expertise. Ronald worked with the fair for 40+ years and was our CFO for over 20 years. His engineering and computer skills kept us going as did his friendly and unflappable manner. The 59th Annual Greater San Diego Science and Engineering Fair was held March 19 - 24, 2013 at the Balboa Park Activity Center (2145 Park Blvd.) The GSDSEF was well represented at the CA State Science Fair April 15-16, 2013 in Los Angeles!
