The Greater San Diego Science and Engineering Fair is a non-profit corporation run 100% by
volunteers. Volunteers organize, run and judge the Fair which has served the San Diego community
since 1955. Thousands of young lives have benefited by participating in the science fair. Your help
is needed to continue this great tradition of science excellence and self-discovery.
The Management Committee is always looking for volunteers to assist in
many different activities. Anyone can assist us! You need not have a science background to donate
your time and engery. A list of our committee responsibilities is
available. Please contact Shirley Miranda, Director if
you are interested in helping out.
Volunteers are also needed to judge the Fair. We require the support of the scientific and
technologic communities in San Diego. Judges are continually impressed with the work of
San Diego's youth. The innovation of the projects are a marvel. Volunteer to
judge the Fair!
