CATEGORY AWARDS -- First, Second, Third and Fourth Place awards are given in each Junior and Senior Division category. NOTE: There is no restriction on the number of awards which may be given in each category. Awards consist of medals and ribbons.

SWEEPSTAKES AWARDS

SWEEPSTAKES, SENIOR DIVISION (Four) -- $2000 scholarships from the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center, engraved plaques and one of the following:

  1. An all expense paid trip to the International Science and Engineering Fair (two will be given)
  2. A $2500 scholarship award presented by the Biomedical Research Institute of America or
  3. An all expense paid trip to Taiwan (courtesy of the Taiwanese American Foundation of San Diego)

SWEEPSTAKES, JUNIOR DIVISION (Four) -- $200 and a plaque

SWEEPSTAKES ALTERNATES, SENIOR DIVISION (Four) -- $100 and a plaque

SWEEPSTAKES RUNNERS-UP, JUNIOR DIVISION (Four) -- $100 and a plaque
